BioCaptain Squid is two people, at least. One of them works as an analyst for a private management consulting firm. He does lots of work on projects for local government entities, and is more or less libertarian depending on his current projects. He lives with the lovely Lemur, and spends as many weekends as possible sailing at his parents' lake place.
The other Squid is captain of the Cult of the Red Mantis, the most fearsome pirate crew ever to sail the Midnight Ocean. He's the first governor and initial developer of Jorvik Island, home of the Looterati, the best damn pirates ever to grace the Puzzle Pirates game. He's fond of good drink, bad poetry, and grownup company.
